Middle School Fall Cooking Classes (Virtual)
Tuesdays, September 19 - November 21, 2023
4pm - 5:30pm | $10 / session
In this interactive virtual cooking class, middle school students will learn the basics of scratch cooking using fresh, seasonal foods. Each class will highlight a different local ingredient, such as eggs, honey, apples, or potatoes. Students will learn about how this crop is grown and cook along with us as we prepare a light meal or dessert. This class is a great way to learn about healthy food and develop skills for independence in the kitchen!
Registrants will receive an email with a list of pantry items that will be used throughout the 10 week course and would be helpful to have on hand. In addition, an email will be sent a few days before the program that will include the week's recipe so that participants have ample time to gather ingredients beforehand.
