Yellow Farmhouse's Third Annual Setting our Table Dinner
A Foray into Fermentation

Saturday, September 25, 2021 - 5pm

Trillium Farm, North Stonington

Join us for a five-course outdoor farm dinner that explores the remarkable flavors and function of fermentation.

The Yellow Farmhouse is partnering with Trillium Brewing Company to host an incredible culinary experience at Trillium Farm in North Stonington. The goal of each year's Setting Our Table Dinner is to connect guests to each other and to where our food comes from. This year, we are exploring the power of fermentation - from wines and beers, to sauces, vegetables, and proteins - as we savor the summer and taste the promise of fall.

Through conversation, interactive cooking experiences, and of course an unbelievably delicious meal - we hope guests will leave with an appreciation for all of the ways fermentation can help us to preserve the season, boost flavor and health, and change food for good.

Trillium Brewing Company is a New England farmhouse-inspired brewery rooted in community and shared experiences. Their farm, nestled on an idyllic swath of land in North Stonington, CT,  is a reflection on our region's past, present, and future. We couldn't think of a more perfect place to bring the dinner this year - to introduce you to a change-maker in the food and brewing world - and to build connections with a partner who shares our vision for a better food future.

Courses will be prepared by Chef James Wayman of Nana’s Pizza and Bakery and Grass & Bone; Koji Alchemy author and fermentation expert Rich Shih; and Executive Chefs Tyler Kinnet and Thomas Park from the Trillium Brewing team.

Each course will be paired with cocktails, wines, and brews curated by sommelier David Mensch of boutique bottle shop Spencer & Lynn in Mystic.

Tickets may be purchased a la carte or you can choose to put together your own table of six. There are only 50 tickets available for this dinner!

Guests must be vaccinated or show proof of a negative COVID test.
