Internship and Volunteer Program

Mission of Our Internship Program 

Based at Stone Acres Farm in Stonington, CT, Yellow Farmhouse Education Center interns work alongside leading educators, farmers, and food entrepreneurs to explore a wide range of career paths within the food system. Our Summer Internship offers high school students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, culinary arts, and food storytelling. Working at the beautiful Stone Acres Farm in Stonington, interns will learn about the food system while connecting with where their food comes from through meaningful work and mentorship.
