Mission of Our Internship Program
Based at Stone Acres Farm in Stonington, CT, the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center interns work alongside leading educators, farmers, and food entrepreneurs to explore a wide range of career paths within the food system. Our internship program empowers students to make positive decisions that support their health, the health of the environment, and the health of their communities. By teaching youth programs, working on a sustainable micro-farm, and educating consumers about local foods, interns develop skills to move confidently toward a career aligned with their interests.
