The Art of Baking at Meryl Bakery

March 16, 2025

Jessica Spivey from Meryl Bakery will welcome you into her kitchen and teach you to work with sourdough, bake with whole grains, and create gluten-free bakes. Classes will be held on March 16th, April 6th, and April 27th. $150 per class or $400 for all three.

Mushroom & Plant Identification Class

March 22, 2025

Learn to safely and sustainably forage for your wild plants and mushrooms with CT Foraging Club founder Amy Demers and forager and chef Vinny Crotta! Taste Chaga tea and a foraged snack, then take a 45-minute walk to practice plant and mushroom ID skills. Registration is $35 per person, rain or shine.

Food For Thought: Writing Workshop Inspired by Meals and Memories

Gather around the table in the historic Stone Acres Manor House for a unique writing workshop that explores the deep connection between food and storytelling. Food For Thought will be led by award-winning author Lara Ehrlich, founder and director of Thought Fox Writers Den.
